Traditional rail maintenance often requires large crews, limited rail-bound vehicles, and time-consuming setups that don't adapt well to uneven or remote terrain. Delays are common, and access can become a major obstacle, especially after storms or in rough environments.
Our spider-mounted carts change that paradigm. They move on and off the rails at 20 km/h, letting us reach problem areas faster and operate in places conventional systems can't. This approach reduces downtime, clears debris efficiently, and keeps your lines running without disruption.
When your rail line needs attention, we're ready to respond. All it takes is a call to explain the situation, and we'll dispatch one of our crew members with a spider excavator to your site. From there, we assess, position, and begin clearing right away.
Here are a few situations when you should call:
Our team is Safe Certified by the Forest Safety Council, COR Certified by WorkSafeBC, and an ISN Approved Contractor. For railway debris removal, you won't find a more capable crew.
All maintenance we provide includes:
Our fleet of Menzi 4x4 Plus excavators is built for versatility. Designed to climb, balance, and adapt to changing ground conditions, they let us work with rail carts exactly where they're needed. We simply mount the machinery and navigate directly to the section of track requiring attention.
Given their superior adaptability, our walking excavators can handle tracks through forested corridors, steep inclines (our machines can handle more than 45 degrees), narrow rail paths, and sections with unstable shoulders or limited clearance. However, they remain just as effective on standard rail lines, offering efficiency without sacrificing capability.
